Allicin Max Lesterol. The most prevalent phytosterols in the diet are beta-sitosterol, campesterol and stigmasterol. Plant oils contain the highest concentration of phytosterols – so nuts and seeds contain fairly high levels and all fruits and vegetables generally contain some amount of phytosterols.

In terms of cholesterol control several human studies have shown that products containing a mixture of phytosterols including beta-sitosterol, campesterol and stigmasterol as found in Lesterol can reduce total and LDL cholesterols concentrations by about 20%. The beneficial effect of plant sterols and stanols is obtained with a daily intake of at least 800mg.
